Thank You to Our Summer Interns.

August 26, 2022
Two summer interns smiling outside.

As the school season returns in full swing the team at Seifert Technologies is always sad to see our summer interns return to their educations. This year we have several stand-out students join us and we wanted to take a minute to thank them for their hard work this summer.

Meet the Interns

Sophia Bowe - Seifert Technologies Engineering Summer Intern

Sophia Bowe

We were pleased to have Sophia Bowe in our Engineering Division of Seifert Technologies for the summer. Sophia assisted with the Finite Element Analysis of a Crucible Pot that handled molten aluminum. She was also instrumental in her assistance with lifting beam calculations for a below-the-hook device.

Sophia came to us from The University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering and Applied Science where she graduated in April of 2023. We look forward to watching her grow in her future studies and her career.

Tyler Crawford Seifert Technologies Summer Intern

Tyler Crawford

We want to thank Tyler Crawford. Tyler came to us from The Ohio State University. He learned asp.net, and Windows Presentation Foundation programming and was able to put the training into practice. He was able to work on customer inventory management programs, helped change some programming architecture from 32 to 64-bit, and built some databases. He also worked on SharePoint and did some Raspberry Pi programming.

Tyler, we wish you a successful year down in Columbus! Thank you for working with our IT Division our team will miss you.

Jared Lee

Jared Lee

Jared Lee, we thank you for your time this summer in our IT Division. You were wonderful in helping us with the help desk tickets and calls. We enjoyed watching you set up new computers and work on server maintenance. In addition, we are thankful for the work you did in managed services monitoring for both ESET and Labtech automatically generated tickets. Jared went with other people on-site to some clients to learn first-hand how to do things. Help desk problems he troubleshot included issues with Outlook, printers, displaying to monitors, AD, local, and 365 accounts, connectivity, sign-in, and even replacing a broken RJ-11 wall jack as well as many other tickets.

Jared did all of this as an incoming Senior to Canton High School, where he will graduate in April of 2023.

Thank you to all!  We wish you continued success!
