The Internet of Things (IoT) is emerging as a major economic driver in Northeast Ohio that has the potential to increase manufacturing productivity for the region. By 2023, it is estimated that IoT will create $400 trillion in profitability enhancement opportunities, spanning all major industrial sectors.* Through its Smart Manufacturing Cluster, Team NEO is working to accelerate IoT’s impact in the region.

Smart Manufacturing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Roadmap for Northeast Ohio

In November 2018, Team NEO, with the help of its Working Group, completed a Smart Manufacturing IIoT Roadmap for Northeast Ohio. The purpose of the Roadmap is to establish a regional IIoT commercialization strategy, tactical framework and plan of action.
