The last week of August (27th- 31st), Seifert Technologies hosted their annual United Way Campaign. Seifert has been teaming up with United Way, of Stark County since 2002. This year, Phil Jackson & a special guest from the United Way spoke at Seifert Technologies Corporate Headquarters, Monday, August 27th to kick off the 2012 fundraiser. The goal was to raise awareness in the Massillon community and encourage involvement with organizations like United Way.

As part of the annual fundraiser, Seifert employees are encouraged to participate in additional activities planned throughout the week to promote the awareness of United Way. This year we are pleased to announce that collectively we raised $718.00 in employee cash contributions as well as a total of an additional $2328.00 in employee yearly pledges. Tim Seifert, President of Seifert Technologies has agreed to match the totals pledged. The total came to $6092.00 generated for United Way of Stark County, in one week.

Some of the activities included in our fundraiser included: a raffle where employees bought tickets and dunked their favorite colleague in a dunk tank. Seifert also got a visit from the Massillon Tiger cub, one of the highlights of the day.

At Seifert Technologies we like to encourage our employees to work towards building a stronger community through community service and supporting organizations like United Way. We would like to share with other local business owners that working to strengthen the community, inspires stronger business relationships as well as better work environment for employees.
