MASSILLON, OHIO- The Massillon Development Foundation awarded Alan Jaslow, Owner and President of E-Tank and E-Pump, with the Foundation's Harold Bostic Award.  The award is given annually to an individual or organization for endeavoring to improve the economic base of the community.  The award is given in the name of Harold Bostic, the former Executive Director of the Massillon Development Foundation.  This is the 29th year the honor has been awarded.

Jaslow is investing $5.5 million dollars on a new 33,000 square foot headquarters in the MDF Commerce Park located east of the Route 30 and Route 21 Intersection in Massillon, Ohio. The expansion is three times larger than the current facility and will add 15 additional jobs over the next two years to the company. E Tank is a large equipment rental company that leases tanks, dewatering boxes, and roll off boxes to companies for storing liquid materials at a job site. E Pump leases engine driven, electric or hydraulic pumps to customers who need equipment for sewer bypass and water removal. Jaslow has owned E Tank and E Pump for nearly 20 years, he has kept the headquarters in Massillon while expanding operations and adding offices in Pittsburgh, Buffalo, New York, Indianapolis, and St Louis. Jaslow received the Harold Bostic Award at the Massillon Development Foundations Building Business Breakfast on Monday April 18th.

 “Alan has made a large investment in our community and we appreciate his commitment to economic development in Western Stark County and in the Massillon Development Foundations’ Commerce Park,” Tim Seifert President of Seifert Technologies and current President of the Board of the Massillon Development stated.

The new E Tank expansion helped the Massillon Development Foundation and the City of Massillon extend Millennium Boulevard and open up 140 acres in the park which will be used for future development.

The mission of the organization is to help companies create or maintain jobs for our community. MDF currently owns 167 acres of industrial zoned land in two industrial parks. In the 64-year history of the Massillon Development Foundation, it is estimated that 70 companies in six industrial parks operate on land MDF had a role in developing.
